About the Artist

Cary Reeder, a Miami, Florida native, has made Houston, Texas her home since 1996. Her work has been included in numerous local, regional, and national juried exhibitions, and had solos shows at the Galveston Arts Center (2018), Optical Project (2016) and Lawndale Art Center (2013) in Houston. She received an Individual Artist Grant from the Houston Arts Alliance (2013), was twice featured in New American Paintings, was a Hunting Prize Finalist (2014), and teaches at the Art League Houston.
